Choral Ensembles
Concert Choir
The College of Charleston Concert Choir is under the new leadership of Carlos B. Brown, Director of Choral Activities. Historically, it has been our premier touring choral ensemble having traveled throughout the United States, Ireland and the UK, and having performed at national, regional and state American Choral Directors Association Conferences, three National Collegiate Choral Organization Conferences, regional American Guild of Organist conferences, and multiple SCMEA conferences. The Concert Choir’s membership is comprised of both music majors and non-majors, representing a wide representation of the College's student population.
Gospel Choir
Led by our new Director of Choral Activities, Carlos B. Brown, the College of Charleston Gospel Choir is a vibrant ensemble that focuses on repertoire from the gospel tradition. Historically, the Gospel Choir has toured extensively and has been featured on statewide ETV and national morning news.
