In Concert
Each year, the Music Department presents over 100 public performances, featuring world-class visiting artists, distinguished faculty, and students.
The International Piano Series, Monday Night Concert Series, Charleston Music Fest, along with concerts by our College of Charleston ensembles are popular events in the Charleston musical community. Our faculty and students also play vital roles in the Piccolo Spoleto Festival each year.
Most events take place in the 254-seat Simons Center Recital Hall or the 784-seat Sottile Theatre. Other venues include historic Randolph Hall on the College of Charleston campus and many of the beautiful churches in downtown Charleston.
